Derek Van Tichelt – Director of Business Development for CLMG recently attended the 20^th Annual Breakbulk Transportation Conference and Exhibition in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The conference had exhibitors and attendees from various industries, including heavy equipment manufactures, ports, shipping companies, trucking companies and warehouse and distribution centers.

“This was a great networking opportunity for CLMG” stated Derek Van Tichelt.  “The Breakbulk industry is one of the most labor intensive of all cargoes, requiring specialized handling and specialized lift equipment.

CLMG is looking to expand it’s business services in several areas where our expertise in heavy equipment maintenance and repair can an added value to majority of the companies represented at this conference”.

In addition to the exhibitors, this year’s conference also included several guest speakers who are prominent industry leaders that discussed topics ranging from the state of the cargo industry to a broader view of the economic horizon.
